About the Item

A spectacular amethyst vase featuring faceted diamond cuts, fan cuts and faceted border. The lamp with bronze Bacchus masks with handles, hand-chased grape leaves and an egg/dart rim, resting on a pedestal base with laurel leaves and berries and surmounted on a cantered corner plinth. Incised Made in Austria on base. Circa late 19th century. Dimensions: 6 1/2" W, 29" H Condition: Please see detail photos. The lamp has been tested and is in working condition. One dark spot to base, overall presenting very well.
