Sculptural table lamp base designed by Angel Pazmino and produced in Ecuador during the 1970s. This vintage lamp base is a strong example of Latin American modernist design, combining modernist form with traditional South American craftsmanship.
The lamp features a solid wooden core wrapped in hand-tooled leather, decorated with raised relief patterns inspired by pre-Columbian motifs. The tooled leather surface creates depth and texture, giving the piece a distinctive sculptural presence.
