Antique 19th Century Chinese Famille Verte Ginger Jar converted as Table Lamp
Beautiful 19th century Chinese ovoid lidded ginger jar from the Qing Dynasty. It is hand painted in intricate detailing with figures of officials and their horses, peasant buildings, blossoming prunus and rocks. The colors in this antique Chinese ginger jar are particularly striking; the iron red, green, orange and gold contrast well with the white glaze.The jar is converted into a table lamp. It is mounted on a hardwood stand. The condition of the jar is very good. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp is in working condition.
