Trained in industrial design, he long created objects intended for mass production. Today, his ceramic practice stands as a reaction against the logic of standardization. He seeks a modernity that is not synonymous
with planned obsolescence, but rather one rooted in the timeless, in gesture, in the sensitive bond between humans and matter.
His work draws from ancient architecture, reinterpreting certain motifs to engage in dialogue with our era. The arch motif, recurring in his pieces, is a universal symbol: it evokes shelter, threshold, and
window in turn. By reinscribing it into forms that are both minimal and organic, he offers a contemporary reinterpretation of this historical aesthetic. This architecture becomes a language, invoking a familiar
visual field—a way of anchoring the past in the present.
