About the Item
This vintage large original Hillebrand brass desk lamp was designed and manufactured in Germany in the 1930s. Typical streamline design and heavy quality.
The lamp works with an E26/E27 Edison screw on bulb on 220V as well as 110V. It has been rewired with new fabric wiring and has got a 2-pin Continental European plug. US adapter will be added for shipping to US. Maximum wattage is 60 Watt (LED recommended)
Signed on base with makers mark and DRGM (Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs Muster).
Hillebrand Leuchten was founded in 1881 by Egon Hillebrand in Neheim (Germany). The company designed and manufactured desk and table lamps for use in offices and homes. The company continued to produce lamps after WW2 and closed down in 1995.
Good vintage, naturally aged but polished condition. All lighting is converted for US usage. New wiring with fabric cord.
