About the Item
Art Deco Revival and Hollywood Regency style table lamps, Spain, 1970s. Silver chrome metal and champagne tone structure with hand-blown opaline upper diffusers, which provide a totally Art Deco and Memphis vibes to these pieces.
Post-Modern, Brutalist and Space Age styles. Very much in the style of Metalarte and BD Lumica Spanish designs. Very much in the style also of Paul Hanson’s (USA) and Jean Perzel’s (France) creations, and of the luminaires that Frederick Cooper commercialized in Chicago during the 70s and 80s.
Paul Hanson Lighting Company was known for their brilliant lighting designs and creations in New York, where this company was founded in the 1920s. Their lamps have become a very collectible pieces, above all the ones during the Hollywood Regency era, which have a very nice Art Deco Revival style.
For one E27 bulb each piece (compatible with E26 bulbs). Original electric installation reviewed and fully operational. LED compatible. Perfect condition, with minimal signs of wear on the metal, and a little dent on the back side of one of the lamps. Opaline glass diffusers in perfect condition. The opaline glass difussers may not be the originals.
Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
