About the Item
Pair of desk or table lamps designed by Joan Antoni Blanc for the Spanish brand Tramo, 1960s. Veined black marble base that holds a chrome-plated metal structure in the shape of an arch and circumference where the opaline lampshade rests, the light from which can be directed almost 360 degrees in multiple positions. Bauhaus style, in the style of Le Corbussier.
Joan Antoni Blanc was one of the pioneers of the industrial development of the product in Spain. He founded the Estudi Blanc, where he created several furniture and lighting designs. Some of his designs were awarded with the Delta ADI/FAD Awards.
It is possible that the marble bases were added later around the 2000s.
