About the Item

Danish mid-century ceramic table lamp by Danish ceramist Jeppe Hagedorn-Olsen (1929-2011). Made ca 1960´s. The lamp base has a slightly body shaped form with shoulders and waist. This is contrasted by the raw expressionism of the structural and tactile surface with running and painted glaze in black, warm brown and blue on off-white. The design language relates to the brutalism of the 1950s. Marked on bottom: Jeppe Hagedorn-Olsen Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is natural white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. Measurements: height with lampshade 50 cm height with socket 32,5 cm height without socket (ceramic part only) 25,5 cm width bottom 13 cm depth bottom 9,5 cm diameter with lampshade 30 cm height shade 23,5 cm Light bulb: For type E 26/E 27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
