Brass Art Nouveau Adjustable Library Lamp
This is a very unusual piece, the lamp has a round brass base which supports the swivelling swan neck arm, this in turn supports the long cylindrical lamp which also swings up and down to adjust the light
Both the swan neck arm and the shade are decorated in the Art Nouveau style, a late 19th Century piece, the lamp’s wiring has been fully updated
A very attractive little piece the lamp is 11” tall and spreads over 11”, the shade is 9” long

Wonderful art nouveau table lamp with an unusual design. This table lamp in patinated brass is very art nouveau with its curvy and floral shapes and sharp edges. A great and very distinct design which is uncommon to find. Look at the way the three vertical elements bend and curve towards the top of the lamp, or at the three feet which stand very elegantly on the surface.
