About the Item
Large, massive brass table lamp from the 1930s by the company Egon Hillebrand, Germany, in Bauhaus style. The heavy lamp impresses with its completely brass-designed surfaces. It has a heavy base with a metal core and a curved lamp neck with a domed brass shade. The lamp can be adjusted via two joints, one at the base and one at the shade. The desk lamp provides bright, pleasantly glare-free light through the large shade. It is in good original condition with typical patina on the surfaces and some dark spots - see pictures. Company logo under the base. The underside of the lamp has been newly felted. The cable and switch may have also been replaced. The lamp has small dents on the upper finial of the shade and on the back section of the base - see details.
