The Paddle lamp is a small, brutalist-inspired table lamp, perfect for bedside or accent lighting in larger living spaces, created by Streicher Goods in Brooklyn, NY.
The lamp features a dish-like top that subtly flares out, creating a broad silhouette, with a sturdy cylindrical base, giving it a robust and grounded appearance. The exterior boasts a stone-like texture, meticulously painted to achieve a weathered look, and is then sealed with a semi-gloss varnish to add a slight sheen. This finish lends the lamp a rustic charm, while the inner surface reveals a warm, glowing orange hue that contrasts beautifully with the darker rocky outer shell.
Each piece in the "Deep Reflections" Collection is hand-painted, using various techniques to build up the acrylic paint, creating the faux rock-like appearance to the outside of the ceramic piece.
