About the Item
Inspired by the rhythmic, repeating forms of desert cacti, the Cactus Lamp balances structured brutalism with cheerful, organic detail. Its sculptural base is hand-built using slab construction techniques from speckled stoneware clay. Alternating silhouette panels pivot around the central light source, each plane catching light and shadow differently to create a sense of graphic movement and playful minimalism.
This one of a kind lamp is finished with a hand-brushed satin matte off-white glaze, revealing warm clay undertones where applied thinnest, adding subtle variation and earthy depth. This lamp is paired with antique brass hardware, a brown twisted cloth cord, and an integrated dimmer knob for adjustable ambiance. The included oatmeal lampshade enhances its refined yet grounded aesthetic.
Perfect for sideboards, consoles, reading nooks, or modern interiors seeking sculptural artisan-made lighting with a distinct design narrative rooted in desert minimalism.

Nani Goods
Nani Goods, founded by multi-disciplinary designer and artist Steven K Lancaster, creates handcrafted home goods that feel archival—timeless yet entirely new. Rooted in emotion and nostalgia, each piece is a quiet rebellion against the soullessness of mass production, embodying care, memory, and the unmistakable imprint of the human hand. Steven’s background in interior design and home furnishings informs a deep respect for the beauty of everyday objects. At Nani Goods, imperfection is celebrated as a sign of authenticity. We honor traditional craft and technique, believing that the everyday deserves to be both considered and beautiful. Informed by both the warmth of folk art and the restraint of minimalism, our objects are meant to be lived with, cherished, and passed on. Each piece reimagines heritage with reverence, inviting individuals to connect with culture, history, and the handmade—on their own terms.
