Exceptional chrome-plated aluminium table lamp with smoked glass disc, 1980s or between 1970s ti 1980s, Italy.

This striking table lamp is a remarkable piece.
Its ingenious design allows for a variety of lighting effects.
It consists of a metal base on which an opaque glass disc is positioned. Beneath this disc (not visible unless you disassemble the lamp) are several bulbs that diffuse the light.
Next to this is a tinted glass disc that rotates 360 degrees. A smaller metal disc is then positioned on top of this disc, secured by a magnetic and locking system (providing double safety).
Rotating the glass disc creates different moods and lighting effects (as you can see in the photos and video).
This is truly ingenious and subtle, giving you the impression of having a different lamp depending on the position of the discs (tinted glass and metal).
As if that weren't enough to make it a truly unique lamp, the tinted glass disc is also rotatable, allowing it to be tilted from left to right or vice versa (see photos and video).
Finally, two small bulbs are positioned on the base.
Functionality and artistic expression are perfectly combined in this remarkable piece.
The "Made in Italy" label is inscribed on the switch, and you can select from several different lighting effects by pressing it repeatedly, allowing you to illuminate all the lights or just a portion of them (the light diffused beneath the disc can be turned on independently of the two small bulbs on the base).
The lamp exudes a sculptural aura, diffusing soft light and bathing the room in a soothing and captivating atmosphere.
