A beautifully handcrafted ceramic table lamp designed by Astrid Tjalk for Kähler Keramik, Denmark, 1950s. The rounded, globular base is adorned with Tjalk’s signature hand-incised botanical motif, a rhythmic pattern of stylized leaves rendered in warm, earthy tones beneath a glossy cream glaze. The lamp exemplifies Kähler’s tradition of fine craftsmanship and the organic elegance characteristic of Danish mid-century design.
