A one-of-a-kind sculptural table lamp by Italian artist Davide Moretto, entirely handcrafted from forged Corten steel and a repurposed 1950s Murano glass vase in a deep amethyst tone.
The floral-inspired steel base, shaped and welded by hand, unfolds like a metallic bouquet — an effusion of petals and tendrils supporting the delicate Murano glass shade above. The contrast between the raw, oxidized texture of the Corten and the smooth transparency of the vintage glass creates a refined dialogue of material and light.
Illuminated by a 2700K LED source (CRI 98+), the lamp emits a warm, natural glow that enhances the amethyst reflections of the glass and the undertones of the forged steel.
Both lyrical and architectural, this work captures Moretto’s unique sensibility — transforming reclaimed materials into poetic, luminous forms.
Echoes of Gaetano Pesce and Andrea Branzi emerge in its organic geometry and expressive use of color and matter, yet Effusione tra Rose ed Uva remains unmistakably Moretto: elegant, tactile, and deeply human.

Davide Moretto
Davide Moretto is an artist-designer whose work sits at the intersection of art, design, and craftsmanship.
