About Degué and Edouard Cazaux Degué was the artistic name of David Guéron (1892–1950), an enigmatic and influential figure in French Art Deco glass. Following the success of the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris, he established his glassworks in Compiègne, later opening Verrerie d’Art Degué in Paris.
