About the Item

A very nice example of Poul Henningsen's iconic 3/2 table lamp. With copper top shade, browned brass base, Bakelite switch, finial and original brass hardware infrastructure- this lamp comes with original rayon-wrapped cord and opaline glass lower shades. Retains original European socket, but is shown using a socket adapter with candelabra base US bulb. US plug has been added, so the lamp is ready for use. Dates to the mid 1930s, imported from Denmark. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen. Rare combination of a beautiful lamp for your collection.
