About the Item

Black Farstar table lamp designed by Adalberto Dal Lago and Adam D. Tihany and manufactured by Francesconi in 1973. The dome shaped glass shade sits on a plastic base. The large round light dimmer that also functions as an on / off switch is a characteristic feature of this black Farstar. There is a sticker with the brand on the bottom of the lamp. The model can be used both as a table lamp and a wall lamp. Farstar is described in the 'Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 218 (1973).
