About the Item
An impressive and rare pair of antique dore bronze candlesticks mounted as lamps. The candlesticks with beautifully cast scrolls, florals, shells and foliate motifs in the rococo style. Mounted with enamel finished standards with dual sockets with pull chain operation, adjustable height and finial. Stamped Fd. Gervais, Paris on base.
Dimensions: 7 1/4" W x 28" H that is adjustable to 29" H
Condition: Losses to the white enamel on the candlestick standard. There is some age-related dulling and wear to the patina but overall the pair presents very well. One ever so slightly askew.
