About the Item
A fine carved and gilt wood twin handled tiered decorative urn. The wide scrolled handles with inner dolphin heads and both the tops and the shoulders with leafy bands. The foot is mounted on a square base. The whole is mounted on a red-brown painted base. With a brass artichoke finial.
Dimensions: 30" H x 12" W x 6 1/2" D
Condition: Please see the detail photos. Various signs of age and use include a stable age crack and a loss on the foot and a stable age crack on the back shoulder of the urn. There is a chip to the back corner of the gilt base. There is some age darkening to the gilt finish but has an overall good patina. It has been tested and is in working condition. The turning knob is a bit tight.
