A fine pair of Chinese Export, 19th century porcelain bottle vases mounted with French ormolu as oil lamps. The well potted ovoid light pale-green porcelain pear-shaped body decorated with hand-painted asymmetrical and floral designs in red, light-blue and white, all surmounted with ormolu oil valve and scrolled side handles, the base raised on an ormolu plinth with peacock-tail design and cabriolet feet. (electrified). circa 1880 Overall height: 32 inches (81.3 cm) Vase height: 19 inches (48.3 cm) Vase width: 8 1/2 inches (21.6 cm) Shade width: 16 inches (40.6 cm) Shade depth: 16 inches (40.6 cm).
