About the Item

A lovely and most decorative French 19th century Baccarat Crystal, Gilt Metal and Giltwood lamp. This stunning lamp is raised on a hexagonal Giltwood base with mottled edges while fitted with a mirror plate insert. The finely cut baluster shaped Baccarat Crystal fut is decorated with Gilt metal foliate bands and floral petal like designs. Each reeded Baccarat Crystal reserve is separated by the same foliate Gilt Metal bands leading upward. All original gilt throughout.
