About the Item
French contemporary ceramic lamp by Renzo Maar. Dimensions : . Material : ceramic (white stoneware), brass ; signed. Inspired by hublot doors by Jean Prouvé and by brutalist and Art Deco architecture, this lamp is made in a white stoneware. This piece is available immediately but custom orders are also possible (please note that each piece is hand-made in France and unique, dimensions and finishes may vary). Dimensions : 18 cm (diameter) x 36 cm (height without lampshade)
Renzo Maar is a young French-Italian artist and designer working with materials such as stoneware, plaster and metal. Passionate by the works of historical artists and designers like Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Michel Frank, Serge Roche, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Line Vautrin, Jean Royère and François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne, he combines minimalist shapes and pure colors to design mirrors, lamps and furniture.
