French contemporary ceramic lamp by Renzo Maar. Dimensions : . Material : ceramic (white stoneware) and oxydes, brass ; signed. With a shape reminding of the Croisillon lamp by french Art Deco designer Jean Michel Frank, recognized by leading designers around the world as one of the greatest sources of inspiration to many present-day designs, this lamp is a tribute to Lucio Fontana's tagli.

Renzo Maar is a young French-Italian artist and designer working with materials such as stoneware, plaster and metal. Passionate by the works of historical artists and designers like Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Michel Frank, Serge Roche, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Line Vautrin, Jean Royère and François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne, he combines minimalist shapes and pure colors to design mirrors, lamps and furniture.
