About the Item
A striking table lamp attributed to that reflects the quality of French crystal ateliers. This hand-cut table lamp was handcrafted in France from 1950-1970. It has an impressive baluster-form, cut from exceptionally clear, heavy lead crystal, featuring deep starburst and geometric motifs that catch and refract light beautifully. The crystal body rests on an elegant cast brass base with Ming-style curved feet, lending a refined architectural presence. Original self-adhesive label fragments remain, reading “Fait Main” and “Made in France,” indicating hand craftsmanship and French origin. Measuring approximately 24 inches tall, the lamp has substantial weight and outstanding clarity. Both sculptural and luminous, this singular lamp makes a sophisticated statement in traditional, transitional, or refined modern interiors. This lamp is in wonderful condition.
