French table lamp from the Napoleon III period, circa 1860–1870, executed in the Louis XVI style.
The lamp features a square base in black marble and a smooth, cylindrical black marble column.
The base and column are finished with gilt bronze mounts at the top and bottom, decorated with restrained, classical ornamentation.
