About the Item

Neoclassical style table lamp in the form of a leather clad urn with bronze peacocks on either side joined by a decorative rope border with circular bosses in the center. The base with acanthus leaf decoration and paw feet. The leather covering is unusual and makes a very handsome surface. French, circa 1900. Newly rewired. Measures: 27 inches high overall, 7.5 wide 7.5 deep. Urn 15 inches high, base 6.25 square.
