About the Item
This exquisite Art Nouveau Gallé table lamp is a real eye catcher. Made around 1900 in France.
The table lamp, shaped as a mushroom, is made of green colored glass with leafs on it.
Émile Gallé was a French glass maker and furniture designer based in his hometown. His favorite motif, which he used a lot in his work, was the plant. There were also many insect motifs. Gallé was probably the greatest glass maker of all time and one of the founding father's of the Art Nouveau movement.
