About the Item
Important floor lamp from the Murano area, datable to the 1970s. The body consists of a large blown smoked glass bubble (Ø ca. 34.5 cm) on a silver-finish metal base and collar, with coeval electrical system. The ensemble, with a clear cylindrical lampshade, returns a mid-century aesthetic of strong stage presence, typical of Venetian production of the period. Epoch: ca. 1970 Production: Italy, Murano area (unsigned; in line with coeval Mazzega/Vistosi models) Materials: blown smoked glass; silver-finish metal; fabric shade Dimensions: • Height with lampshade: 72 cm • Lamp body height: 69.5 cm • Glass bubble diameter: 34.5 cm • Lampshade diameter: 38 cm (approx.) Electrification: working; coeval components and lamp holder. As with any vintage piece, verification/adjustment to destination country standards is recommended. Condition: good/optimal vintage condition, with normal traces of use and light patina on metal parts; glass intact.
