About the Item
Post-Modern and Hollywood Regency style table lamp designed by Jorge Pensi for the Spanish brand B-Lux, 1980s. Made of polished injected aluminum, and chrome plated in gold. The shade, where two halogen bulbs are housed, is solid and is adjustable in height along the masts.
This design was recognized with the Silver Delta ADI FAD award in 1988, the same year of its creation. Jorge Pensi, an Argentine architect, settled in Barcelona in the 1970s where he worked for several companies and renowned European brands, receiving the National Design Award in 1997.
A very rare golden limited edition piece (discontinued many years ago). Two positions of the switch.
For 2 bipin halogen bulbs. Original electric installation reviewed and fully operational. Some tear on the chrome parts.
