About the Item
Grand tour table lamp in French empire style circa 1920, France. This piece depicts the King Cecrops from Greek mythology in his youth and playing an aulos (wind instrument from ancient Greece). With half a snake body, this king was the first of the city of Athens, and was also known as Erechtheus. Made of solid bronze, this lamp has an articulated top to direct the light through a glass shade of translucent and bottle green tones.
Adjustable height measurements: 43-56cm.
For an E27 bulb. Electric installation reviewed and renovated. Small defect in the glass, see last photo.
