About the Item
Here is a very nice pair of lamps from the 1960s by Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund. Most Bostlund lamps are a solid glaze, but these are hand-painted with stripes and other geometric shapes. Very striking! Both lamps are signed "Lotte" as shown in the photos (only one signature is shown). These lamps do not have the original shades and the shades shown are not included, but they are close to the shape and size of the what the Bostlund's would specify. The harps and finials are included.
The lamps are in very good condition with no cracks, chips or hairlines. There may be slight wear and surface scratches upon close inspection, but nothing that detracts from the overall presentation of this handsome pair of lamps.
The lamps as shown with the shades measure 25.5" high. The ceramic vases measures approximately 13" high and just shy of 4" in diameter. For reference, the shade measures 8" x 10" x 12" high.
These are a great example of Bostlund's work and this particular style are hard to find in pairs. These would work beautifully in a wide range of interior styles and would work in almost any room in a home.
