About Hettier
Vincent:
Founded in the 1920s with headquarters at 10 Rue de Turenne, Paris, Hettier
Vincent established a prestigious showroom on the Place des Vosges by 1929. Known for supplying the Parisian upper class with high-end lighting, their designs typically feature bases and fixtures crafted from bronze or wrought iron paired with exquisite glass shades created by top French glassmakers of the period. Their molded glass shades were often produced by Holophane (Les Andelys), trading under the Verlys and Des Hanots names. Acid-etched and mottled glass pieces were commonly crafted by Muller Frères, while crystal shades came from the Cristalleries de Baccarat.
This lamp stands alongside other legendary makers of the era such as Daum, Muller Frères, Schneider, and Degué, representing the finest in French Art Deco lighting design.
