Exceptional earthenware table lamp made by Tilgmans Keramik, Sweden, early 1950s. Foot lamp decorated with an African couple, a boy and a girl, face to face, realized in sgraffito technique, details enhanced with colored over-glaze. Illuminated by an E27 bulb, fit for the US too. Signed inside, bottom, "Tilgmans Sweden." Very good condition, normal wear.
