About the Item
Jacques Darbaud was born in 1943 in Aix en Provence. This pair of lamps is one of his latest creation. He named it Janus in reference of the god of doors, transitions and duality. With these 2 faces, these lamps represent the duality, the two faces of our world and our vision. There are both lamps and sculptures. Both are signed and fixed to a stone which has a layer of glazed paint which imitates the texture of ceramic. American wired.
