About the Item

A refined French Art Deco table lamp in acid-etched and sandblasted glass, signed “Jarville-Nancy”, produced in the glassworks established by André Delatte in Jarville, near Nancy, in 1921. The signature Jarville-Nancy refers to the original location of Delatte’s workshop (L’Est S.A.), historically associated with the production of artistic glass under the celebrated Nancy School tradition. The lamp displays finely worked frosted surfaces and sculptural relief, achieved through traditional acid-etching and sandblasting techniques typical of high-quality French decorative glass from the interwar period. This piece represents an authentic example of French Art Deco lighting, combining refined craftsmanship with the artistic legacy of the Nancy glass movement.
