About the Item
An iconic Scandinavian design lamp model 0992 by Kai Ruokonen "Finnmark" and manufactured by Orno Oy in the 1970s for the Vaakuna Hotel in Helsinki, Finland. The same model was also used later in the Palace Hotel Helsinki. A very simple yet elegant heavy duty lamp in full brass with a beautiful patina. There is something magical about the coldness of brass and the warmth of the light filtering through the shade. The condition is consistent with age, showing some signs of normal use, but the overall impression is very good and the Patina is absolutely gorgeous. Marked by Manufacturer "Orno Oy" and model number.
