Kai Ruokonen Finnmark Table Lamp in Full Brass, Orno 1970s

An iconic Scandinavian design lamp designed by Kai Ruokonen "Finnmark" and manufactured by Orno Oy in the 1970s for the Hesperia Hotel in Helsinki, Finland. The same model was also used later in the Palace and Vaakuna Hotel Helsinki. A very simple yet elegant heavy duty lamp in full brass with a beautiful patina. There is something magical about the coldness of brass and the warmth of the light filtering through the shade. The condition is consistent with age, showing some signs of normal use, but the overall impression is very good and the Patina is absolutely gorgeous. The heavy patina on the bottom part of the lamp is actually really nice and adds an exceptionally authentic vintage look.
