Large Japanese Yakisugi scorch technique lamp. Handcrafted and turned solid English ash, sequoia or cypress wood. Chrome electrical fittings. Dimensions may vary very slightly due to the nature of the craft process involved.
Yakisugi / Shou Sugi ban - This ancient traditional charring process was originally, and specifically, for Japanese cypress wood and involves deliberately charring its surface to elicit the beautiful black and ultra-durable finish. Height measurement includes the metal fitting.
