About the Item
This Italian table lamp from the 1960s-1970s features a hand-carved horse head in classical tradition, reminiscent of a chess knight. The translucent stone displays dramatic natural veining in rich amber, cream and reddish brown tones that create beautiful light patterns when illuminated. Substantial in scale and weight, this sculptural lamp makes an undeniable presence.
The lamp has been updated with fresh wiring, brass fittings and Euro Type C plug. It retains the original 'Genuine Alabaster, Hand Carved, Made in Italy' label.
Please note that the lamp is sold without shade.
