About the Item
The manufacturer Søholm Stentøj (“Søholm Stoneware”) is one of the oldest and most revered names in Danish ceramics. It was founded in Rønne, on the Baltic island of Bornholm, in 1835 and became known for its distinctive ceramic designs, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. In the middle of the 20th century, Søholm produced a wide range of stoneware in various patterns and shapes, marrying practicality with artistry to create items that feel both grounded and elegant.
This large model “1033” ceramic table lamp captures the refined yet tactile elegance of the manufacturer and of Danish design in the 1960s.
