About the Item
A Hollywood Regency–period brass lamp rendered in a Chinese-inspired columnar form, attributed to the style of James Mont. The body is decorated with archaistic horizontal bands, including stylized taotie masks, and is flanked on two sides by sculpted lion heads with loose ring handles. The brass features a deep, near-black patinated finish that enhances its dramatic presence.
The lamp retains its original base, fittings, and surface finish.
The lamp measures a total of 30 inches to the top of the lamp fitting ( where bulb starts, harp not included) and 24 inches to the top of the brass lamp itself.
