French Art Deco Table Lamp by Leune, Paris, 1920s
A stunning French Art Deco table lamp by Leune, crafted at 28bis rue du Cardinal Lemoine, Paris, in the 1920s. This elegant piece features an enameled granite glass shade suspended gracefully from its iron base, combining classic Art Deco geometry with refined craftsmanship.

The lamp is signed "Leune" on the shade (see photo). It is delivered wired for your country (US, UK, EU, Australia, etc.) and is compatible with LED bulbs.
The Société Anonyme des Établissements Leune, founded around 1900 in Paris 5e, became renowned for its exquisite enameled glass lighting and decorative objects. Before World War I, the company specialized in romantic designs featuring lightly enameled landscapes. During the 1920s, under the direction of Paul Daum and design contributions from Auguste-Claude Heiligenstein (1923–1926), Leune produced its most celebrated works—thickly enameled, high-quality glass pieces that epitomize the Art Deco style.
Leune also crafted molded-pressed glass vases under the Etaleune signature, reminiscent of works by Muller Frères, showcasing the company’s versatility and artistic innovation. All enamel-painted items were signed “Leune”, while press-molded pieces carry a printed stamp. The company ceased operations in the early 1930s, making surviving examples rare and highly collectible today.
This vintage French Art Deco Leune lamp is a superb example of Parisian craftsmanship from the interwar period, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of 1920s decorative arts, French Art Deco lighting, and signed Leune glass.
