Linde Freya Tangelder Wax, Stone, Light Suspension Lamp Beige I For Cassina Murano glass meets metal in a collection of lamps with multifaceted material expressions. The three models, inspired by the five original pieces in the collection, are designed to illuminate an even broader array of spaces. The cube-shaped modules that comprise the five pieces in the first collection were reinterpreted to bring to life three new configurations: a pendant lamp and two appliques. Made of Murano glass blown inside cast-iron moulds by skilled artisans, the blocks also retain the unevenness of surfaces hand-worked with wax that makes each piece unique. MATERIALS Murano glass, aluminium, stainless steel COLLECTION Floor lamp, table lamp, pendant and appliques. The Wax, Stone, Light Collection by Linde Freya Tangelder – based on five totem-like columns, each of different dimensions and composed of sculptural blocks made of blown Murano glass – serves as inspiration for various options to illuminate a broader selection of spaces. The cube-shaped modules that comprise the five pieces in the first collection were reinterpreted to bring to life new configurations: a pendant lamp and two appliques, one rounded and one with more linear shapes, carved from cut cubes. Made of Murano glass blown inside cast-iron moulds by skilled artisans, the blocks also retain the unevenness of surfaces hand-worked with wax that makes each piece unique. This lamp is wired for Europe, if used in US or any other country the client will need to convert it.
