Little Chrysalis (Cherry Red) by Ango is a sculptural table lamp handcrafted from natural silk cocoons, designed as an intimate, collectible lighting piece and a refined design gift. Part of Ango’s iconic Chrysalis series—originally introduced with the award-winning Chrysalis Sky floor lamp—this table-scale edition brings the same poetic materiality into a more personal form.
Each lamp is composed of a random constellation of hand-selected silk cocoons, finished in a rich cherry red tone. An ultra-fine halo of transparent silk fibre surrounds every cocoon, softly refracting and diffusing the light to create a warm, atmospheric glow. The cocoons are individually fixed to a hand-soldered wire matrix using Ango’s signature artisanal technique, ensuring that every piece is entirely unique.
Balancing expressive craftsmanship with compact proportions, Little Chrysalis is an ideal luxury gift for design lovers—perfect for desks, bedside tables, shelves, or curated interior settings where light becomes an art object.
