About the Item
Cornflower blue and white rare vintage Lladró ceramic table lamp with raised floral relief and a new navy blue, taupe, and champagne embroidered lampshade made from a vintage silk sari by Amitābha Studio.
The hand-made Lladró base, marked “Lladró – Hand Made in Spain” to the underside, is crafted in glossy white porcelain with soft cornflower-blue relief flowers marching around the rounded body. Each four-petal blossom is slightly raised, linked by fine taupe stems, giving the lamp subtle texture and depth. The neck is elegantly fluted and banded in blue, keeping the profile light and refined while still reading as a classic blue and white ceramic lamp.
Crowning the porcelain is a new drum shade made from vintage sari silk. The deep navy ground is densely patterned with stylized floral sprays in warm golds, taupes and soft greys, with delicate sequins that quietly catch the light. The pattern repeats all the way around the shade, so the lamp is beautiful from every angle—perfect on a console, bedside table or writing desk where it will be seen in the round.
Amitābha Studio has fully updated the lamp with new wiring and a coordinating blue-and-white braided fabric cord, ready for contemporary use while preserving the character of the vintage Lladró base.

Founded in 1953 by brothers Juan, José and Vicente Lladró near Valencia, Spain, Lladró is renowned for its finely detailed porcelain sculpture and lighting. Amitābha Studio
Amitābha Studio is a husband-and-wife creative design studio founded in Amsterdam in 2021 by Davide Piai and Kimberly Poppe. The name "Amitābha" means "limitless light" in Sanskrit.
Davide Piai is an Italian craftsman with talents encompassing art, music, and culinary arts. Kimberly Poppe is an American artist, fine art photographer, curator, and interior designer, educated at Parsons School of Design and Sotheby's Institute of Art.
Together, they create functional art objects—notably luxury lighting and lamps—by meticulously sourcing and transforming antique and vintage ceramics into handcrafted designer pieces. Each of their lamps is one-of-a-kind.
In 2025, Amitābha Studio relocated to Sitges, on the Mediterranean coast south of Barcelona, Spain. While Dutch pottery remains at the heart of their collection, the move has allowed them to incorporate the rich ceramic heritage of Spain into their work.
The studio has collaborated with prestigious institutions, including Aronson Antiquairs for 17th-century Delftware and Royal Delft.
