Louis Sognot bamboo and rattan lamp "Mid-Century Modern" 1960, France Very nice lamp by the French designer Louis Sognot. The artist has created models using bamboo and rattan for the structure of his lights and cotton for the shades. The light produced by this lamp is very warm. This makes it a decorative object whether it is on or off. The lamp is in good condition. We can see some wear marks due to the age of the object. Please look at the pictures, they complete the description. The lamp works. It may need to be rewired depending on the destination. A simple adapter may also work well.
