About the Item
French Riviera style table lamp, Italy, 1960s. Designed by the French architect Louis Sognot, this lamp has a structure in the shape of a tent or tipi and is made of fire-cured cane and rattan, with a white cotton diffuser with a central band in brown, ochre and yellow tones. Safari, Mid-Century and tiki style, very popular in the 60s and 70s.
Sognot dedicated himself to the design of furniture with Art Deco and cubist influences, without sacrificing practicality and simplicity in many of his creations.
For one E14 bulb. Electrical installation renovated and fully operational. LED compatible. The screen has been cleaned and sanitized. Perfect condition.
