About the Item

This is an 18th-century Louis XV-style Italian torchère that has been converted into a table lamp. The lamp features an intricately carved wooden base adorned with ornate detailing and a metal silver finished to enhance its regal appearance on the front and wood painted white on the back part. The design showcases the characteristic curves, scrollwork, and floral motifs of the Louis XV period, reflecting the opulence and elegance of Rococo artistry. The base is supported by three claw-like feet, adding to its grandeur. It has been wired and transformed into a functional lighting piece. It's in orginal condition with normal signs of use considering the age, the dimensions are without lampshade, not included. It's an interesting lighting fixture for an house with antique furniture.
