About the Item

Here's a very attractive pair of lamps dating from the late 20th to early 21st century. The lamps are from an estate of a Fortune 500 CEO that had high-end furnishings. Although we do not know the designer or maker, the pair is of beautiful quality. We do know they were made in italy--as marked on the bottom of the lamps. The ceramic has a wonderful ecru crackle glaze. The plinths or bases have a gilt gold finish that does show some wear, which could easily be touched up if desired. Fretwork metal finishes off the ceramic body. The shades are nice quality and save from a crease on the backside of one shade (probably when the shades were stacked at one point), they are in very good condition. If so desired, the shades are included although they do add to the shipping cost. As shown with the shades, the lamps measure 33" high with the widest diameter of the shade is 20".
